 I came across these stunning photographs whilst browsing Stay Fancy Free, and simply fell in love. I think mostly due to the fact that I have a small obsession with drinking tea, and this scantily clad beauty makes it look so elegant and glam. A cup of tea in bed, followed by a game of dress up with pouty red lipstick to boot? 

Love it.

Sisters got Skill

Time to brag about my extremely talented and wonderfully brilliant sister, RoXanne. She has recently been employed by CLEO Magazine as their new fashion intern. Hip hip hooray! Pictured above is a small feature on her and her insanely great blog, Lucy Cant Dance, in the June issue. Pity they spelt her name incorrectly, but hey I don't mind - my sister's a celeb man!  

Viva la Vida

 I have never been more excited for a concert before. 

Can you believe that my favourite band will be performing on Cape Town soil for the first time ever on the 5th of October 2011 and that I WILL BE THERE!? Man oh man I am super duper excited. I got me my ticket and I am counting the days. Happiness.

I just love this new collection by Lover. So simple and elegant. The fact that its inspired by ballet is what caught my attention. This white dress in the middle is my favourite.

A Real Life Fairytale

 Can you believe its been a week already since this magical day?! Wow. I am still in absolute awe of the whole royal affair. That dress, that DRESS! Only fitting for the dashing Prince Williams' real-life-princess, Kate. If I had had this wedding (oh how I wish I could!) I think my favourite part would've been the ride on the carriage to Buckingham Palace. Smiling and waving to all the people who have come to see you in your white gown & princess tiara, & bowing your head in a royal salute. Least I forget the balcony kiss. Oh so romantic.

 My man & I were browsing the shops of our favourite place, Kalk Bay, when we stumbled upon a tiny New And Old CD & DVD store, hidden away in one of the quaint little lanes. I was very excited to find the soundtrack to one of the musicals I love for only 15 mega bucks! SHOWBOAT is an old classic and a story I enjoyed learning more about at college. Pictured above is the exquisite Ava Gardner. She played the role of Julie in the 1936 movie version of the musical. My favourite song in the show is entitled, "Cant Help Lovin' Dat Man". It has been on repeat on our cd player all week! Here is a clip of the movie version of the song, which is slightly slower but just as wonderful. Enjoy!
