Pink Stinks - Not!
I just adore Charlotte Free in these fabulous Tim Burton inspired photographs by Paul Schmidt for the June Issue of JALOUSE magazine. The pink and orange combination is sensational and I would kill for a pair of those liquorice-looking stripy trousers. More importantly though, looking through these pictures really makes me miss my insanely wonderful STUNNING sister.
Why?
Simply because she happens to have candyfloss pink hair at the moment.
Just the same as Charlottes.

Believe it or not these abstract, colourful paintings above were created by a pretty little 4 year-old girl named Aelita Andre. The story of her debut in the New York art world caught my attention on the news last night. Her exhibition, Prodigy of Colour, is currently showing at the Agora Gallery in NYC. She has already sold paintings for a whopping $30 000! Her art fascinates me a lot. I think I love it. The fact that a very cute "little person" (with a pure, undistorted desire to simply 'create') has created them, makes them all the more enchanting. What do you think?

Fresh Nostalgia
These old-fashioned bird pics are so great.
I am in love with all these lovely lamp shades.
I spent my Friday night with my best friends at the divine Woodlands Eatery. Dave took me here for our one year wedding anniversary earlier this year and I have been dreaming of it ever since! I left my camera at home so had to make up for it by taking some pics on the trusty blackberry. I think the thing I love most about this cosy little restaurant - besides their incredibly tasty, fresh organic food - is the way it has been decorated. Everything you see has been sourced from junk shops and scarp yards, and has been reassembled and repainted to create a quirky look and a vintage, nostalgic feeling. I love all the different sized and shaped lamp shades and the collection of vintage mirrors. Unfortunately I couldn't get great pics but I hope you enjoy these few!

I had the most amazing dream last night where I was eating a giant tub of the creamiest, most delicious vanilla ice-cream! Imagine my excitement this morning as I came across this delightful image of what looks to me to be the exact taste sensation of my sleep travels.
